Divine Service
The holy monastery of Panagia Theoskepastos carries out the following program for the respected pilgrims:
Every Sunday, Orthros and Divine Service followed by a holy Sermon by the Elder Chrysostomos Theoskepastiotis from 06:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Holy Celebrations
The holy monastery celebrates twice a year.
a) On Saturday of Akathistos Hymn
b) On the 23rd of August (5th September according to the new Calendar)

Theoskepastos
On a plain full of olive trees among hillocks and under the imposing shadow of mountain Olympus the Holy Monastery of Panagia Theoskepastos is located.
The monastery is found on the North-Eastern edge of Attica outside the historical city, at the area of Keratea, known for the multitude of its monuments.
It looms in awe in the green nature, on the provincial road towards Anavissos and specifically in the area of Skaleza-Mitradoni in an amphitheatrical location with altitude 250m just 45 minutes from Athens (via Attiki Odos) 22 minutes from the airport of Spata “Eleftherios Venizelos", and 15 minutes from Lavrio.
A monastery like a mosaic to remind us of a little bit of Mystra with its narrow cobblestones and a little bit of the Byzantine monastery of Theoskepastos in Trapezounda with its high walls and tile roofing houses.
Here the time stops and the grace of the scented Mother of God acts in the souls of the faithful people, who while they are leaving from the monastery, they are feeling “free besieged” from the sublimity of God’s love.

During winter months 09:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
During summer months 09:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon & 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
